Blizzard shipped Diablo 4 patch 3.1.1 (Build #72836) on July 14, 2026 for all platforms — the first major mid-season fix for Season 14: Season of Death Awakening. The update targets the Mythic Unique economy that frustrated players in the opening weeks of 3.1.0, plus a long list of seasonal and class bugs.

What Changed

  • Fixed an issue preventing certain Unique sources — including Lair Bosses — from dropping items as Mythic - Increased the chance that naturally dropped Mythics are Iconic Mythics - Upgrade to Mythic recipe cost reduced from 5 to 4 Pandemonium Fragments - Corrupted Reaper now drops up to two Pandemonium Fragments, scaling with Torment - Repeatable Glints of Hope reputation reward now guarantees a Pandemonium Fragment - Seasonal Reputation Board added to Temis; Deathtoll Chambers always award at least one Superior Lair Key at high Torment - El'druin, Sword of Justice added to the Blacksmith Mythic Unique Cache - Warlock set bugs (Mefis / Flesh of Abaddon), Spiritborn Stinger over-damage, Tower party rewards, SSF Friends-list icon, and Rupture spawn distance fixed
  • What This Means for Players

Season 14 players should see Mythics appear again from boss Unique tables that felt empty at launch. Fragment crafting is slightly cheaper, and Reaper plus the Glints boards are better Fragment farms. Restart the client to pick up 3.1.1 if it has not auto-updated.

    What's Next

Official notes live on Blizzard's Diablo IV patch page under the 3.1.1 header. For the full running log from Lord of Hatred through Season 14, see DiabloBytes' patch history. Larger class balance beyond the 3.1.0 launch pass may wait for a later mid-season or Season 15 update.
